Rahul Gandhi show boosts morale of party cadre

Tandur: As the public meeting attended by AICC President Rahul Gandhi received overwhelming response from the people on Monday, Congress leaders and activists in the constituency felt it had achieved 50 percent of poll victory. Though the leaders expected a crowd of 10,000 to 12,000 people, the William Moon School ground, where the meet conducted was overcrowded with as many as 20,000 people. The crowd cheered Rahul Gandhi with whistles and claps when he slammed the TRS, BJP and MIM parties with hard-hitting punch lines. People of all ages including women, youngsters and followers from Peddamul, Yalal, Bashirabad and Tandur mandals in the constituency attended in a good number.

Balladeer Gaddar mesmerised both the Congress and the audience with his song about Telangana martyrs. When Rahul Gandhi aimed the fired salvos against the opponents in his speech, people heard it by paying full attention. At one moment, he set right translation issues by alerting TRS leader Srisaila Reddy who played the role of translator. Chevella MP Konda Vishweshar Reddy, Congress candidate Rohith Reddy, AICC leaders Khuntia, Bosu Raju, TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, local leaders Sunitha Sampath and Lakshma Reddy were present.
