Kollapur: While taking part on the final leg of campaigning Congress Star campaigner from AICC Gulam Nabi Azad while taking part in the Mahagarjana public meeting in Kollapur on Wednesday predicted KCR’s end has started and said that KCR will taste the dust of defeat in the ensuing elections.

Azad who started his speech saying, ‘Jai Telugu..., Jai Telangana..., said that KCR’s role in the formation of new state of Telangana was zero and in fact it was Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi who had taken the risk of giving Telangana state in spite of the fact that she would lose the face of congress party in Andhra Pradesh. While addressing a huge gathering of people Azad said, “I have brought you good news. KCR will be defeated badly in the December 7th elections and the next government will be formed by Congress party.”

Azad said that with the recent arrest episode of Revanth Reddy by the TRS government, the entire political situation in Telangana has changed dramatically. He said with Revanth’s arrests it was proven that KCR fears Revanth reddy and if Revanth is out he would not have succeeded in making the Kosgi public meeting a grand success.

“KCR is in the grip of fear of losing and he stooped so low and his confidence is so low that if Revanth is out, KCR’s meet will be a flop. So to avoid confrontation with Revanth KCR had resorted to his arrest. This has boosted our chances of winning further and opinion of people on KCR has taken a negative shade. This episode clearly proves KCR’s autocratic and undemocratic attitude,” observed Azad.

Enumerating various failures of KCR government Azad said not a single promise made by KCR government had been fulfilled. KCRs promise of 12 per cent reservation to Muslims and STs has not unfulfilled, his promise of providing 3 acres land to dalits is not implemented. Construction of 2 lakh double bedrooms is not done; employment o 1 lakh people is not seen.

KCR has failed on all fronts and the people have realised the double standards of the TRs government. Mr. Azad urged people to support for Hand and win the candidature of Harshavardhan from Kollapur. He further said that Congress takes the responsibility of developing Kollapur into a model constituency and complete all pending projects and provide irrigation and drinking water in the constituency.
