Karthika masa rush at Sangameshwara temple

Jharasangam: A huge number of devotees thronged Kethaki Sangameshwara Swamy temple here on the last Monday of auspicious Karthika month. Devotees made beelines right from early hours and offered special prayers. They lit the traditional lamps.

The dhwaja sthambha, Pogada tree, Basavanna temple, Amrthagundam were illuminated. Temple chairman Narsimha Goud and EO Srinivasa Murthy made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the festivities. Local police supervised the security arrangement. Devotees from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka also visited the Lord.
