Yadadri: BJP State president Dr Laxman felt that the Election Commission was utterly failed in conducting Assembly elections in the State as per the expectations of parties and people.

On Monday, he visited Yadadri shrine and had darshan of Lord Laxminarsimha Swamy at Balalayam. Wishing blossom of lotus in the State, he performed special puja in the temple.

Addressing a press conference held at a hotel, he expressed his anger over missing votes due to ineffective functioning of the Election Commission. He said that the BJP is the only party that contested alone as per the aspirations of people of the State.

Expressing anger over the dissolution of the State Assembly well in advance without any valid reason and people voted against the TRS in the elections, he predicted. Increased vote percentage indicated that anti-TRS voting, he added.

BJP is going to play key role in the State assembly by winning more seats than that of 2014 elections. In this press meet party MLA candidate from Aler constituency Donthiri Sridhar Reddy, party leaders R Srinivas, L Srinivas, Narender, Bhaskar, Raju and others participated.

Meanwhile, TRS MLA candidate from Aler constituency Gongidi Sunitha also performed pujas to Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swamy and Lord shiva and exuded confidence that with the blessing of God she is going to win Aler seat for the second time with good majority.
