Jubilee Hills: Officials of Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) visited the recently opened rain harvesting theme park located in Jubilee Hills on Monday. KDA vice chairman Kinjal Singh, along with the team of three IAS officers, visited the park. Jalamandali executive director M Sathyanarayana explained the importance of the theme park to the officials. He said that the park was constructed to create awareness among children the importance of rain harvesting in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

Kinjal Singh said that preserving water was a social responsibility and praised the efforts of Jalamandali for raising awareness on the subject among children. The theme park demonstrates preciousness of drinking water, he said. Jalamandali special officer for percolation pits J Sathyanarayana and other officials were present on the occasion.
