Hyderabad: The prices for entry at star hotels and resorts have increased marginally for New Year celebrations. Speaking to event managers organising New Year celebrations showed that the entry fee increased by Rs 1,000 in many parts of the city. Pradhan, an organiser at Aditya Park hotel said, “The prices have been increased from Rs 500 to 1000 only for different age groups.”

Though the prices remain same at Taj Banjara stated one of the organisers there. With New Year just a few days away, star hotels and resorts are busy making preparations. Every year, the number of people celebrating outside their homes is increasing. Ushering in the New Year in a swanky hotel or outdoors has caught on like never before. This time, hotels and resorts are also allowing 7-year-olds. Hyderabad is set to have more than 30 New Year bashes across the city. “Bookmyshow turns out to be a boon for those willing to enjoy the New Year eve to their fullest,” stated the organiser at Taj Deccan. Some of the most-sought-after venues include Taj Deccan, Leonia, Park Exotica, Playboy Beer Garden, Hitex ground and Trident.

Singers and dancers from across the country would descend for the New Year bash as star hotels have been trying to get the best to town. Dance performances, selfie booth, best couple award, tattoo stall, fashion show, magic show, Bollywood DJ’s are in store say organizers. The Hyderabad Police have issued orders for party time from 8 pm to 1 am. It is the norm to provide unlimited food and alcohol but all organizers need to record minute by minute proceedings and submit to the police department. A senior official said that this is the first time that such an experiment would be taken up to ensure incident free celebrations.
