Suryapet: Suryapet MLA G Jagadish Reddy stated that irrespective of religion Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been distributing clothes to poor to keep Telangana people happy.
On Friday, he distributed clothes to Christians in a programme held in the town. Speaking on the occasion, he said the State government is committed to the welfare and security of minorities. He informed that government has introduced several schemes for the welfare of Christians.
He assured that he will extend his cooperation for wellbeing of minorities. Plans are afoot for the development of Suryapet Assembly constituency in all aspects, he added.
In this programme , District Collector K Surendra Mohan, Municipal chairperson Ganduri Pravallika, district library chairman Srinivas, minority welfare officer L Srinivas, Market Committee chairman Y Venkateshwarlu, RDO Mohan Rao, local officials and others participated.
