MMTS works gain momentum at RK Puram Bridge
In view of construction of second railway line at RK Puram Bridge, the bridge will be closed from 11 pm to 5 am during the period December 2630
RK Puram: In view of construction of second railway line at RK Puram Bridge, the bridge will be closed from 11 pm to 5 am during the period December 26-30. Commuters who travel towards Neredmet and Trimulgherry have to take a detour from Safilguda railway track during the closure. Similarly, commuters coming from Trimulgherry and AOC center have to travel via Safilguda towards Neredmet.
Precast girders would be placed at the bridge connecting a crucial link. The MMTS Phase II works on the Sanathnagar-Moula-Ali stretch is gaining speed. Engineers at the RK Puram Bridge who were overseeing the works said that once the girders are placed, it would connect the Neredmet MMTS station to Ammuguda and beyond. The total distance between Moula Ali and Sanathnagar is 22.4 km.
