Hyderabad: Gavins Kids Fashion Week (GKFW), a corporate social responsibility (CSR) event, was conducted by Gavins at Chirag Ali Lane here on Sunday. The event aimed at creating a platform for kids to enter showbiz, modeling and advertising industry for which there was no platform currently. Kids struggle hard to get into this profession, but are often exploited. Gavins created a fair chance without any monetary involvement from families to groom and launch potential kids.

Season one of GKFW had overwhelming response of 800 kids, who auditioned on December 9 and finally 40 were selected. The kids went through several boot camps and grooming session and now they are all successful in the industry, some got ads with AirAsia while others got Movie Chiranjeevi, major role in Kannada movie, Top print ads of various brands from various categories like Wonderla, Peppermint, MTR and a few people pursuing with beauty agents and top magazines covers.

On December 29 and 30, Gavins gave opportunity to the new talents from INIFD Academy to design wardrobe for these kids and new talents from Studio7 to style these kids for this event. On December 29, Gavins invited all top brands from Kids industry like Avira, Tathastu, AIr girl, Rashi, Oks Boys, Attitude and Deal to launch their spring collections with these Gavins Super Models and appreciating the initiative they all designed their collections for this event. On the first day of Gavins Kids Fashion week on December 29 witnessed 10,000 kids and parents.
