11th visit in a row to Sabari on foot

Amberpet: The local resident, Ravi Kumar, was felicitated by Ayyappa devotees at the Ayyappa Temple here on Sunday on the occasion of visiting Sabarimala for the 11th consecutive year by foot.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Kumar said that the one who has utmost determination and devotion toward Ayyappa Swamy can get the blessings of the Swamy. He started his journey on January 13, walked 1,200 km to Sabarimala and took darshan of the Lord Ayyappa on January 16.

On his return, he was felicitated by the Ayyappa devotees, led by Eshwar Guruswamy and Chadramouli Guruswamy, on his successful journey on foot for 11th consecutive year.
