Addressing a gathering, The MLA said that such programmes are the best platforms for youth to develop their oratory skills. Harish said the programme provides a best opportunity for rural youth to shape their skills and advised them to improve their communication skills.

The MLA said that the forests are disappearing fast due to the increased pollution levels. He hailed the efforts of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for introducing Haritha Haram to increase the green cover in the state from 24% to 33%. Harish said it is the Telangana government that is striving hard for ecological balance in the country. He expressed anger over bankers for sanctioning of loans to economic offenders, instead of providing loans to farmers. Harish said that the college was established during Telangana movement. Telangana police played a vital role in eradicating terrorism, he added.


The former minister said that they are transporting silt removed from tanks to farmers’ fields. Harish said there was no single terrorist activity in the state after KCR came to power. Earlier, MP K Prabhakar Reddy appealed to the youth to demonstrate their democratic spirit. He said he is happy to participate in the programme as alumni. Prabhakar also appealed to the youth to show interest in politics. The programme was organised by the teaching staff and Nehru Yuvakendra.
