Book by Telugu varsity VC launched
A Telugu book written by the poet and VC of Telugu University SV Sathyanaryana Jeevitham oka udyamam and its English version translated by Swathi Sripada as Life is a movement were launched here at Telugu University on Tuesday President of Telangana Sahitya Academy Nandini Sidha Reddy attended the programme as chief guest
Nampally: A Telugu book written by the poet and VC of Telugu University SV Sathyanaryana ‘Jeevitham oka udyamam’ and its English version translated by Swathi Sripada as ‘Life is a movement’ were launched here at Telugu University on Tuesday. President of Telangana Sahitya Academy Nandini Sidha Reddy attended the programme as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sidha Reddy lauded SV Sathyanarayana for being engaged in writing despite serving as vice chancellor of a university. He said that Sathyanarayana’s poems throw light on contemporary society without compromising on poetic values.
He expressed his happiness for including life of Arutla Kamala Devi, first Telangana women activist, in the book. SV Sathyanarayana said that the book will further be translated into other languages. He also thanked the people who cooperated with him while writing the book.
