Gachibowli: While most number of participants were from Hyderabad, a special group of five students, along with their art teacher, gained a lot of attention at the event because of their attractive paintings. The students are from Telangana Social Welfare Residential School and Junior College for Boys TSWRS-JC Boys, Cherial, Siddipet. Art teacher A Vedhantha Chary, along with his 5 students, travelled over 100 km just to attend this competition, the students achieved instant popularity among the crowd because of their painting talent.

When asked the reason for bringing only 5 kids, Chary said, “Actually we have 50 students in our school but we couldn’t afford the expenses to bring all of them, so I chose 5 of our best students and brought them here for the competition. When I saw the article in the newspaper, I wanted my students to take part in this. So after discussing with our school principal T Krishna Reddy, I arranged my own car and brought the students here.

I thank The Hans India for organizing this competition. And being an art teacher, it felt so good to see so much talent from so many students who gathered here and made this event a big success.” The students who participated in the competition are P Pavan, M Praveen, P Dinesh, M Adithya and K Bharath Kumar. All of them stay in the hostel at TSWRS.
