​Cheruvugattu (Nalgonda): As part of Cheruvugattu Brahmotsavams, the priests of the temple amid of chanting of Vedas performed the celestial wedding of Lord Jadala Ramalingshwara Swamy with his consort Goddess Parvathi on a grand note in the early hours of Wednesday. A huge number of devotees thronged the temple to witness the wedding.

On behalf of the State government, State Legislative Council vice-chairman Nethi Vidyasagar offered Muthyala Talambralu and silk clothes the deities. On the occasion, the idols of the deities were attired in silk clothes and Kalyanamandapam was decorated with flowers, while the hillock was illuminated.

Member of Legislative Council Pula Ravinder, Nalgonda MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, former Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham and a large number of devotees witnessed the celestial wedding.
