Yadagirigutta: Vexed with officials apathy, a farmer, Beemagani Bikshapathy of Chinnakandukur village of Yadagirigutta mandal, reached the Tahsildar office in Yadagirigutta with kerosene to commit suicide.
However, people on the office premises prevented him from taking the extreme step. Speaking to media later, Bikshapathy informed that the officials concerned have deleted a part of his land from the records and have not been correcting the mistake even after the matter was brought to their notice around three months ago. He said since then he had been making rounds to the Tahsildar’s office to get the issue addressed, but in vain.
He was depressed over the attitude of the officials concerned and had finally decided to commit suicide in front of them on their office premises. Meanwhile, the officials concerned assured him of disposing the matter in a couple of days.
