Roadside turns into dump yard

Gandhinagar: A place in Gandhinagar main road has been used as a dump yard over 20 years. Despite several complaints registered, no action has been taken to clear out the area right beside a residential building. It has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and different kinds of insects. People worsen the situation by attending to nature calls in the open, which is leading to foul smell and will give scope for outbreak of other harmful diseases. The GHMC workers periodically try to clean up the area but no effort has actually turned out fruitful.
