Hanamkonda: The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE) of Kakatiya University (KU) has released the results of the entrance test for the admission to two-year B Ed (distance mode) course for in-service teachers for the academic year 2018-19 here on Thursday.
The results were released by KU Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sayanna, Registrar Prof K Purushotham, Controller of examinations Prof S Mahender Reddy and SDLCE Director Guguloth Veeranna at the V-C’s chamber here.
According to officials, as many as 99 per cent of the candidates, who appeared for the entrance test, have been qualified. As many as 403 candidates out of a total 408 got through the entrance test. The break up is 59 in Biological Sciences, six in English, 184 in Mathematics, 31 Physical Sciences and 123 in Social Studies.
Prof Veeranna said: “Counselling for admission to two-year B.Ed. course will be conducted from February 26. The counselling for the candidates belonging to Mathematics and Biological Sciences will be held on February 26, and Social Studies, Physical Sciences and English on February 27.” He said that candidates will be informed of counselling dates through short message service (SMS). Prof B Venkatram Reddy, Dr Y Venkaiah, Dr P Sadanandam, Prof T Srinivasa Rao, Media In-charge Dr Sangala Ephraim Raj were among others present.
