Malkajgiri: The Satya Sai Nagar colony residents on Monday made a representation to the Deputy Commissioner Malkajgiri – Prajavani regarding the delay in laying of roads.
The representation said that the GHMC Executive Engineer after paying a visit to the area assured the residents of launching road-laying works. However, the works have not seen the light since November 2018. As a result, the colony people are facing lot of problems with overflow of drainage and bumped roads, they said.
The colony members said that they were in a confused state on why the road work was not done even after it was sanctioned long back.
However, after giving representation, the officials told that the works have been sanctioned but there was no budget and it would take time. Colony members Nagaraj, N Laxman Yadav, S Pandu, Balakrishna, N Balaji Gupta, B Kishore Kumar, Gouri Shankar and Nagaraj Bakka were present.
