Officials are making necessary arrangements to implement Prime Ministers Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme in the State for the beneficiaries as per the central government guidelines
Vikarabad: Officials are making necessary arrangements to implement Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme in the State for the beneficiaries as per the central government guidelines. They identified 72,000 beneficiaries, who possess less than five acres of agricultural land. There are a total of 2.24 lakh farmers in the district.
The officials conducted a field-level survey and finalised the list of beneficiaries. They are eligible to get first time installment of Rs 2,000. They deposited the money for 17,000 beneficiaries as part of the first phase. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, they said that if parents possess five acres of land along with their son, whose age is above 18 years, both of them are eligible for getting benefit from the scheme.
