Cheated woman seeks action against lover

Vikarabad: A girl from Tarigoppula village in Tharur mandal complained to the district Superintendent of Police T Annapurna that her lover turned down marriage proposal after impregnating her. According to the victim, she had been in love with the autorickshaw driver Kovuri Bitchaiah of the same village for four years. When she got pregnant, the lover started evading her. She lodged a complaint against him on February 16 in Tharur police station. “He (her lover) along with local political leader invited me for talks. They forcibly took me to a Munnuru Somaram village and plotted to kill me. But fortunately, I somehow escaped,” she told the media. She requested the SP to take action against the cheating boyfriend and the local leader.
