Call to strictly enforce model code of conduct
Model Code of Conduct MCC Nodal Officer Vishwajit Kampa instructed various teams appointed to implement model code of conduct to ensure that elections norms are followed in the forthcoming Parliament elections in Hyderabad district
Hyderabad: Model Code of Conduct (MCC) Nodal Officer Vishwajit Kampa instructed various teams appointed to implement model code of conduct to ensure that elections norms are followed in the forthcoming Parliament elections in Hyderabad district.
He was speaking at a meeting held with in-charge officers of various MCC committees at GHMC main office on Wednesday. Elections expenses nodal officer Venkateshwar Reddy also participated in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishwajit said that special teams have been appointed to implement model of code of conduct in the district. Elections violations could also be registered through the app C-Vigil, a mobile app introduced by Election Commission for election related complaints, he said. He said that all the MCC committees would start working once the election notification was issued. During the meeting, Vishwajit explained job charts of video surveillance teams, flying squads, account teams and video viewing teams.
