Hyderabad: Pragna Bharati, a nationalistic thinkers forum dedicated to the retrieval, revival and resurgence of traditional indigenous knowledge systems, is organising Gyana Sangam, a two-day national conclave on ‘Diversity of Indian Languages’ on March 2 and 3 at TSCAB Training Center, Rajendra Nagar here.
Prof (Retd) Panchanan Mohanthy (HCU) Member ICSSR, will deliver the key note address. Eminent people such as Dr Shailendra Raj Mehta, Dr RVSS Avadhanulu, Dr Prabodhchandra Nayer, Dr Ananya Barua, Dr Raviprakash Tekchandani, Dr Vijay Kumar and several other subject matter experts are going to address the conclave.
Amongst others, one of the seminal objectives of Gayna Sangam is to facilitate and ignite innovations in every sphere by way of foregrounding treasures of knowledge en-scripted in ancient Indian scriptures and fostering proactive collaboration with other emerging- knowledge systems of the World. The present conclave is aimed at highlighting the common threads amongst the explicitly diverse Indian Languages and underscoring the imperative of focused research in this area to perpetuate unity and integrity.
Senior professors in different languages from across the nation, academics, and research scholars are expected to participate in the Conclave. Over 250 delegates, engaged in serious research in languages and linguistics, are going to participate and share their views on the subject. Various cultural programs in consonance with the theme of the conclave have been organized on this occasion.
