Bharat Folk Arts Academy conducts and curates many cultural programs with the aim of popularising and propagating folk and tribal arts, started by JaanapadaKalabrahma Dr Gopal Raj Bhatt in 1950, the Academy has staged its productions in major festivals and important occasions all across the country. The Gopal Raj Bhatt Folkans Tribal Arts Festival is a tribute to the prolific artist and revivalist - Dr Gopal Raj Bhatt and an initiative to provide a platform for artists to present their work. The cultural extravaganza features unique folk-art presentations from Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Assam and our very own Telangana!
