“The project has been in the offing for nearly two years. We\'re glad that things finally fell in place,\" noted Gnanavelraja. The film is likely to go on floors in March 2017.

Speaking to Talkies recently, Lingusamy had said that his film with Allu Arjun is on despite the actor going ahead with Harish Shankar’s ‘DJ-Duvvada Jagannadham’ first. True to the director’s claims, his untitled film, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, is very much on as it was launched in Chennai on Thursday.

Stating that he considers himself as a Madras boy as he was born in the city, Arjun, speaking in fluent Tamil, said, “The kick you get when you are in a place you consider your home is priceless. I’ve been waiting to do a Tamil film since long and I’m happy that Gnanavel (producer) and Linguswamy are launching me in Tamil.”

Director Linguswami said, “Allu Arjun is one of the most energetic and hard working stars I’ve ever met. Tamil Nadu likes his acting, especially his dances. I always wanted to collaborate with him for a good film, and it has finally materialised now.”

“The project has been in the offing for nearly two years. We're glad that things finally fell in place," noted Gnanavelraja. The film is likely to go on floors in March 2017.
