Anasuya’s cameo in Winner

Close on the heels of green-signalling her first Tamil film, popular TV host Anasuya Bharadwaj has agreed to play a cameo in Sai Dharam Tej-starrer ‘Winner’, which is currently on floors in Hyderabad.

A source close to the development confirms, “It’s not just a cameo but she would also be seen shaking a leg with Sai Dharam in an item number. She is good friends with Sai and people associated with the film, and so signed it.”

Nallamalupu Bujji, one of the producers of the film, confirmed the development when Talkies contacted him, saying, “Yes, Anasuya is on board. Her song would be shot in a specially erected set in Hyderabad once we are through with the European schedule, which will kick off next month.”

Being directed by Gopichand Malineni, ‘Winner’ features Rakul Preet Singh opposite Sai Dharam. It is slated to release next February.
