Naga Shourya is back to form with Chalo. He bagged a blockbuster with this film and now back again with another exciting family entertainer Amammagarillu, under the direction of Sunder Surya.
Even though his bilingual movie Kanam released which features Sai Pallavi in the lead role, it failed to impress the audience and kept all his hopes on this film. The already released trailer and songs impressed the audience and trending on social media. The film seems like another family entertainer after Shatamanam Bhavati. Let's see whether the film will reach the expectations of the audience or not. Check out the review here:
Story:
Santhosh (Naga Shaurya) has a good connection with his grandmother Seetha Maha Lakshmi (Sumitra) from the childhood itself. But due to the unnecessary disturbances about the distribution of the family assets, the entire family collapses, and everyone part ways. How did Santhosh successfully unite the whole family for the happiness of his grandmother is the story of the movie.
Performances:
Naga Shourya has improved a lot regarding acting, and this film is the proof that he proved his mettle once again and he steals the show entirely in emotional scenes. After Oye Shamili acted in this film and she changed a lot. Regarding acting and glamour, she is the primary asset to the film.
Rao Ramesh once again gave his best and the comedy sequences with Posani, Shakalaka Shankar will tickle the funny bones of the audience. The comedy scenes that come in between Shakalaka Shankar and Shourya will make the audience laugh from beginning to end. The rest of the actors have made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
When coming to the technical aspects, in some scenes, we find the traces of Shatamanam Bhavati and even some of the emotional scenes will make you remember that film. We can easily imagine Naga Shourya in the place of Sharwanand.
The film is all about the emotional bond between the grandmother and grandson and how he makes her feel happy. The editing is excellent and cinematography is top notch. The BGM needs special mention, and the visuals in the songs are fantastic. The production values need special mention, and they didn't compromise to show the beautiful locations of a village.
Final Verdict:
On the whole, Naga Shourya bagged another success, but this times it might be an average runner. He got cent marks for his performance, but the story and screenplay are predictable, and there is nothing new to offer.
As there are many films made by Tollywood directors in a village backdrop, the audience might feel the same while watching it. The chemistry between Naga Shourya and Shamili is excellent and they look fresh together.
The director might have focused much on the screenplay and might add few scenes that are never shown in the films of this genre. Well, we have to wait and see how the audiences are going to react to it.
