Varun Tej, Mythri Movies to join hands?

It looks like new-age star Varun Tej wants to work with big banners these days. After working with Dil Raju (Fidaa), Bogavalli Prasad (Tholi Prema), Krish (Anthariksham), now he is all set to join hands with established Mythri Movies for a big-ticket film. “Varun Tej has agreed to do a film for Mythri Movies this year, while the cast and crew will be finalized very soon,” says a source, close to mega family. After not-so-impressive space thriller ‘Anthariksham,’ the young actor redeemed himself with blockbuster ‘F2’ and heaved sigh of relief, the source adds. Varun who will be doing a role with negative shades in his upcoming film, a remake of Tamil film ‘Jigarthanda’, wants to do a big budget action flick with Mythri Movies. “The banner rose to the top with a slew of blockbusters like ‘Srimanthudu,’ ‘Janatha Garage’ and ‘Rangasthalam’ but tasted bitter loss with duds like ‘Savyasachi’ and ‘Amar Akbar Antony’. Undeterred, the banner will keep dishing out star-studded movies with Mega and Nandamuri stars in days to come,” the source points out. It will be interesting actor-producer combination who are going through a ‘lucky phase’ barring one or two flops. Surely, Varun Tej is moving in the right direction to scale new heights in his career.
