'YSR Congress growing strong'

Vizianagaram: District unit convenor of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) P Sambasiva Raju said that the people were solidly behind the party despite several moves being made to defame it. "People believe that YS Jaganmohan Reddy will solve all their problems if he becomes Chief Minister," he claimed. Mr Raju hoisted the party flag at its office here on the occasion of its foundation day on Tuesday. On this occasion, he said YS Jagan was put in jail and being tortured by the Congress because he stood by his word. "Though Jagan is in jail. the people are with the party," he claimed. Ms YS Vijayamma and Sharmila were working hard to strengthen the party, he said. Party's constituency in-charge Avanapu Vijay urged the cadre to bring the party to power. "Every worker should tour the villages and explain to the people the fallacies of the Congress government," he said. Gorla Venkataramana and Avanapu Vikram and others participated.

Prabha Goud unfurls flag Visakhapatnam: Founder of Prabha Charitable Trust and YSRCP leader D Prabha Goud hoisted the party flag at the office in the 21st Ward here. She called upon the activists to work for the growth of the party. She consoled a woman activist who broke down at the meeting while paying tributes to former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Earlier, she cut a cake to mark the occasion.
