Sevalal birth anniversary observed
Mancherial: Revenue Divisional Officer T Veerabrahmaiah advised all to follow the foot paths of Sant Sevalal for the welfare of society, on the occasion of Sevalal’s 278th birth anniversary at the Collectorate here on Thursday.

He attended as a chief guest at the programme organised by district tribal welfare department. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Sevalal will be remembered for ever, who tried hard for a special identity to Banjaras and to bring awareness among them. His persistent efforts brought spiritualism, which is useful for world peace.
He further said they will organise Sevalal’s birth anniversary on a grand note, for which the government has sanctioned Rs two lakhs.
District treasury officer Saroja, superintendents Srinivas Deshpande, Santhosh and Sant Sevalal committee leaders Raju Naik, Ramesh Naik, tribal welfare department staff and others participated in the programme.
