Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath ordered the revenue officials to complete the reforming of revenue records in all villages at the earliest and to enroll all the details of land, at a meeting with Tahsildars at the conference hall of revenue divisional office here on Friday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Collector said that the government had issued orders to maintain the land records after conducting a survey in all villages to know how much land is present under patta and assigned lands along with other lands.

The details of those lands, which were acquired by the government, will not be entered in the records to avoid confusion. He said that three teams will be set up in each village for preparing the manual report and for collecting the details of the lands, which was divided into three categories.

If surveyors are not available in any village, the officials were told to utilise the services of experienced persons and complete the land reforming works within 10 days covering one village at a time.

“The officials of revenue department must complete the enrolling of survey number of all lands on time by coordinating with the agricultural department officials along with informing beforehand to the village committees about the survey,” Sharath advised.

Every revenue village will be sanctioned Rs 5,000 for completing the reforming of revenue records along with establishing a Reforming Centre at district headquarters, assured the Collector.
