Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the teachers must inculcate human values in students by taking additional classes along with creating social awareness among them for building up better and healthy society.
The teachers must teach the students in such a way that the students whenever they come across any needy people and orphans in their lives, they should immediately come forward to help them.

There is a need to change the way of teaching and educating the students. Education is the solution for all problems. Some are using the knowledge of science and technology not only for good but also for bad purposes which is not good for future generations, he pointed out.

Last year, erstwhile united Karimnagar district had witnessed better results in SSC examinations and with the same inspiration this year also the teachers and students must work hard to get better results to place the district in top position in the State, Rajender suggested.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma said that teaching is a sacred of all the professions. The role of teacher is most important in building a better society. It is the responsibility of the teachers to shape the students into better citizens. All the teachers must work like a team and must strive hard for getting good results, she suggested.

Later, Minister Rajendar handed over the ‘Best Teachers’ awards to the teachers and felicitated them on the occasion.
MLC Naradasu Lakshman Rao, District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, City Mayor Ravinder Singh, district educational officer Rajiv and carporators were present along with others.
