He chaired a meeting with the officials here at his chamber in the Collectorate.The Collector ordered the officials to hand over the revenue lands immediately as a compensatory to the forest departments where reserve forest lands were acquired for irrigation projects.
He suggested to the officials of revenue and forest departments to complete the land acquisition works as early as possible in coordination with each other.
Under Sitaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, about 1,650 acres was required and about 222 acres is required for modernising Rollawagu project, he informed.
By taking necessary steps and with the coordination of forest department, complete the land acquisition works at the earliest, the Collector ordered the officials.
District Forest Officer Ramesh, Collectorate AO Maheshwar and other officials were present at the meeting.
