Timely action of NCC group commander Kapoor saves life of injured sepoy

Warangal: Warangal NCC (10) T Battalion group commander colonel Rajanish Kapoor has come to the rescue of critically injured sepoy Diwan Singh. The sepoy working with DRDL, Hyderabad, was found in an injured state on the railway tracks near Jammikunta railway station after he met with an accident during mid-night hours on Monday. On learning his condition from the local NCC authorities, Col Kapoor jumped into action and rushed to the spot along with the staff.

He brought the jawan to MGM Hospital for treatment. The patient on Tuesday afternoon was shifted to Military Hospital in Secunderabad for better treatment. Diwan Singh is said to be in a stable state and undergoing treatment at Military Hospital.

The staff lauded the timely action of NCC group commander and professionalism of havildar Rajesh Kumar, nursing assistant of NCC Warangal who took care of the injured sepoy helped to save the patient’s life. The group commander thanked the person who alerted the authorities about the condition of the sepoy.
