276 constables to get promotion
With the State government keen to speed up the activity pertaining to civil constables’ promotions, the Warangal Police Commissionerate has prepared a list of eligible cops awaiting their promotions.
Hanamkonda: With the State government keen to speed up the activity pertaining to civil constables’ promotions, the Warangal Police Commissionerate has prepared a list of eligible cops awaiting their promotions.
It’s learnt that there are 276 vacant head constable posts in the Commissionerate and vying for them were 368, according to a preliminary seniority list prepared by the authorities.
The list was already sent to all the police stations for verification and objections if any, sources said. DGP M Mahender Reddy, in a video conference on Wednesday, told the Warangal Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, to expedite the process of head constable promotions.
Reddy made it clear that all the vacancies should be filled by the end of this month and henceforth there would be no delay in filling of the superannuated officials. He also directed the officials to take care of pension and retirement benefits of the superannuated personnel.
Apprising of the activity already undertaken by the Commissionerate in regard with the promotions to DGP, Sudheer Babu said that all the parameters are being verified by two ACP-level and the member of the police officers association.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu has made transfers of three inspectors and 10 sub-inspectors. The transfers of inspectors include: A Narsaiah from VR to Kazipet Traffic; A Srinivas from CCS-III to Mamnoor; V Sivaramaiah from Mamnoor to VR.
Sub-inspectors: J Mohan Babu from VR to Damera; Abdul Rahim from VR to Geesukonda; S Ravi Kiran from Traffic Hanamkonda to Parkal; I Veerabhadra Rao from VR to Valair; G Surya Parakash from Valair to VR; P Ravi from VR to Jafferghad; S Rajan Babu from Jafferghad to VR; E Pagadaiah from VR to Hanamkonda Traffic; D Guru Swamy from VR to CTC; N Sandeep Kumar from Wardhannapet to Kamalapur additional SI.
