Taking charge as new Collector of Peddapalli District here on Monday, Devasena said by overcoming the problems that were pertaining to the district, necessary steps would be taken for the development of the poor people with perfect implementation of welfare schemes introduced by the State government.
Peddapalli: Taking charge as new Collector of Peddapalli District here on Monday, Devasena said by overcoming the problems that were pertaining to the district, necessary steps would be taken for the development of the poor people with perfect implementation of welfare schemes introduced by the State government.
Speaking after assuming office, Devasena said with the cooperation of officials, along with the people’s representatives, the district administration would strive hard for foolproof implementation of various welfare schemes introduced by the State government such as double-bedroom houses, sheep rearing scheme, sanctioning of Rs 4,000 to the farmers along with Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya.
The prestigious land reform works along with the works of the Kaleshwaram Project that were taken up by the State government would be completed within the prescribed time limit by overcoming the shortcomings and problems, assured the Collector.
The government had taken the decision of reorganisation of districts to provide better services to the people. All necessary steps would be taken to overcome the staff crunch along with completing the works and solving various issues related to the people on time, added the Collector.
She urged the media, public representatives and the people to give valuable suggestions for the development of the district to place the district on top position and the assured the people that she would be available round-the-clock to address their problems.
Later, the District Collector participated in the Grievance Day that was organised in the Collectorate.
