It’s holi time

Mancherial: District Collector RV Karnan celebrated Holi, the festival of colours, with district officials and higher authorities at his camp office here on Thursday.

In his message to the people of the district, he exhorted them to celebrate the festival peacefully and advised them against using chemical and other hazardous dyes. The chemical colours could lead to skin diseases besides causing other problems, he added.

13th battalion commandant Murthy, Joint Collector J Surender Rao, Bellampally sub-collector Ch Rahul Raj, district revenue officer Priyanka, district administrative officer Rajeshwar, DPRO Y Sampat Kumar, chief planning officer Satyanaayana and others took part.
