National Institute of Technology Warangal’s student’s cultural festival ‘Springspree’-18, the biggest student fest in Southern India, is scheduled to be launched on Thursday. The three-day festivities will begin on Friday, following the inaugural ceremony, informed the institute Director Prof N V Ramana Rao and Dean (student welfare) Prof L Ram Gopal Reddy at the press meet here on Wednesday.

The three-day festivities will begin on Friday, following the inaugural ceremony, informed the institute Director Prof N V Ramana Rao and Dean (student welfare) Prof L Ram Gopal Reddy at the press meet here on Wednesday.
This year’s festival is being organised with the theme ‘Ekatva’ to celebrate the unity and diversity of the rich Indian culture. Renowned Indian dancer Sai Ronak, Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra, Indian idol winner LV Revanth will take part in the event. Sports-centered events like Futsal and Box Cricket and culinary competitions and appetite testers, like MasterChef and Food Fiesta will be part of the fest.
Workshops like Street Photography, Magic Workshop, Machine Learning will be also be organised while a dance workshop will be conducted by dancer, Sai Ronak. Spotlight events Idol, Choreo Night, War of DJs, IRA, NITMUN, Miss India Fbb Campus Princess and Gamedome will be held, they informed.
SpringSpree-18 is considered the launchpad of the careers of various budding bands, singers, DJ's, models, dance crews and gamers. The events will be judged expert celebrities like Sinduri Vishal, Sai Ronak, Sanjay Joseph, Abhi Khajuria and many others. From March 9 to 11, every night a ‘Pro Night’ will be held and all can attend the show.
Different committees have been formed and they have engaged in making arrangements for the event since February first week, they added. SpringSpree faculty advisor L Krishnanand, student coordinator Aadarsh Thomas, publicity coordinators Prashanth, Sagar, Shruthi, quality control coordinator Arbaaz and faculty member M Ravinder Reddy are present.
