Bhadrachalam: Marking the conclusion of Brahmotsvams at Bhadrachalam temple, priests performed chakrasnanam here in the early hours on Sunday. Amidst vedic hymns, the ritual was performed on a grand level.

Purnahuthi and Dhwaja Avarohanam were conducted in the temple in the evening on the day. With this the nine-day Tiru Kalyana Mahotsavam was concluded.

The devotees and others were disappointed as the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, didn’t attend the celesital wedding of Lord Rama with His Consort Sita and he didn’t presented silk clothes to the Lord. Instead of the CM, Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy presented silk clothes and talambralu on behalf of the State government.

Temple executive officer K Prabhakar Srinivas said that Arjita sevas will be resumed from Monday (April 2) onwards. It should be pointed out here that all arjita sevas were cancelled during Brahmotsaams.
