Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari on Tuesday donned the role of a teacher and taught chemistry formulae to EAMCET aspirants.He made a surprise visit to Residential Junior College at Hasanparthy in Warangal Urban district where free coaching for EAMCET, NEET and JEE candidates was going on. He inspected the coaching classes and interacted with the students and the lecturers.

He made a surprise visit to Residential Junior College at Hasanparthy in Warangal Urban district where free coaching for EAMCET, NEET and JEE candidates was going on. He inspected the coaching classes and interacted with the students and the lecturers.

On the occasion, the Deputy CM, who holds education portfolios and who served as a lecturer in the past, stood at the black board and explained the students some chemistry formulae. The students were all elated at the teaching prowess of the Education Minister though he left profession long back.

He wanted the students to focus on studies and excel in the entrance tests securing medical and engineering seats as the coaching classes were meant to enable the rural students pursue higher studies.He further explained that the coaching classes were being conducted at 26 centres in the State where about 3,500 students were being trained.

The government has been spending Rs 15 lakhs for each centre in offering the free coaching by engaging expert faculty. ‘Telangana is the only State in the country where 577 Gurukuls have been set in just three years span,’ Srihari stated while adding that the objective of the Gurukuls was to ensure quality and standard education to students in the State.

The faculty at the centre explained the Deputy CM that the coaching classes were of great help to those completed intermediate in government colleges. The coaching would continue until the test day and there were 1,761 students at Hasanparthy centre.Srihari, later on the day, visited Fatima High School in Kazipet, where SSC spot valuation was going on and enquired about the process of the valuation.
