Good response for Hans India blood donation camp
The blood donation camp, organised by The Hans India and HMTV here on Tuesday as part of the State-wide programme on May Day, evoked good response from youth, who voluntarily came forward to donate blood. Local MLA Diwakar Rao and Municipal Chairperson Vasundhara had inaugurated the camp at FCA Function Hall.
Mancherial: The blood donation camp, organised by The Hans India and HMTV here on Tuesday as part of the State-wide programme on May Day, evoked good response from youth, who voluntarily came forward to donate blood. Local MLA Diwakar Rao and Municipal Chairperson Vasundhara had inaugurated the camp at FCA Function Hall.
Thanking The Hans India, the HMTV and the Kapil group for organising the camp, the MLA said that the organisations put its best foot forward in organising people’s welfare programmes. Expressing concern over many patients, who were dying for want of blood, he said that a media organisation conducting such programmes would reflect its large-heartedness. He wished the media organisation would conduct many more such programmes in future. Red Cross Society members lent their support to the blood donation group.
Besides Kapil Group members, Anjaiah, Srinivas Odelu, Arun Kumar and Mallesh of The Hans India and HMTV, Red Cross Society members Madhusudhan Reddy and Ramesh took part in the programme.
