A large number of part-time teachers serving in government residential schools have staged a demonstration at Telangana Tribal Residential School at Yakubpur in the city on Monday. The teachers, affiliated to Telangana Residential Schools Part-time Teachers Association, expressed objection towards appointment of regular teachers through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).  

Warangal: A large number of part-time teachers serving in government residential schools have staged a demonstration at Telangana Tribal Residential School at Yakubpur in Warangal on Monday.

The teachers, affiliated to Telangana Residential Schools Part-time Teachers Association, expressed objection towards appointment of regular teachers through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

The teachers complained that it was not proper to set aside their services and go for a notification to recruit regular teachers. They demanded the State government to appoint the part-time teachers in regular posts.

BJP Warangal Urban district unit president Rao Padma extending solidarity to the protesting teachers paid visit to the demonstration spot and interacted with the protesting part-time teachers. She also demanded the government to appoint the part-time teachers in regular posts.

The party leaders K Ranjith Kumar, S Jagadishwar, K Satyanarayana and others were present.
