106 members in Congress SC Cell district body

Warangal: Chairman of District Congress SC Cell Namindla Srinivas formed a jumbo body of office bearers for the cell here on Sunday. A whopping 106 office bearers were appointed for the SC cell. Twelve district conveners, 25 vice-presidents, 16 executive members and 53 mandal committee and town committee presidents were appointed, Srinivas informed the press persons on Sunday. He said that SC Cell district body was set up with the consent of all the district leaders and ministers. All those on the new body would soon take up a district-wide tour to publicise about the SC/ST Sub-Plan, he added. Srinivas stated that the Dalits were always been a strong base for Congress and would remain so in the future too. He appealed to all the SC cell workers to strive for victory of the party in next general elections. A large number of executive members were included in the SC Cell unit of Warangal district with the intention of bringing awareness among the people of the district that the State Government has been striving for the welfare of SCs and STs by implementing SC,ST Sub-Plan, said Namindla Srinivas. The party leaders Edla Prabhakar, Kommu Sridhar, M Ramesh, M Ravinder, E Chinna, Govindu Mohan and others were present.
