Training for Traffic cops held

Warangal: Traffic policemen should stretch further in their work for an orderly traffic, said Warangal Urban SP Venkateshwara Rao. He said that with the increased traffic in the tri-cities of Hanamkonda-Warangal-Kazipet, traffic cops have to work extra in traffic management and to bring order in the flow of traffic. He was addressing a meeting in connection with the training programme for traffic cops on the traffic management in Hanamkonda on Friday. He said that tri-cities witnessed huge growth of the vehicles and it was a challenging task for the traffic cops as they have to regulate and control the huge traffic across all the important junctions. He said that traffic cops should also use hand signs in regulating traffic supplementing with traffic lights. He asked the traffic cops to utilize the wireless services effectively and coordinate with other personnel in regulating the traffic. Road Traffic Education director Adepu Bhaskar was incharge of the training programme.
