Suicide bidders recovering

Parkal (Warangal): A married woman, who attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself along with her two-year-old daughter at Rupureddypalli in Regonda mandal in Warangal on Friday, is recuperating. The woman, P Lalitha and her daughter, Ammulu, were being treated at Santhosh Nursing Home at Parkal. The mother is still unconscious while her daughter has recovered. Police said the woman had taken the extreme step due to the alleged harassment of her husband. Police took her husband P Naresh into custody along with nine others in connection with a suspicious death of a person called Paripurna Chary, who died a month ago. The family members accused the police of forcing Naresh to confess his role in the death of Paripurna Chary. However, Regonda police sub-inspector Venkateshwar Rao said Naresh and others were held for questioning and then let off.
