trs2 Janagaon (Warangal): A team of TRS leaders led by MLAs Eetela Rajender, M Bikshapati, T Rajaiah and Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, T Ravinder Rao, Janagaon TRS in-charge Yadagiri Reddy and others visited three villages in Janagaon Assembly segment to nail Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah on power front and other farmers' issues, on Saturday. The TRS team visited Minister Ponnala's native village Khilashapur village in Raghunathpalli, Peddapahad village in Janagaon mandal and Pochannapet village in Bachhannapet mandal and interacted with the farmers on power woes and other issues. Farmers poured their grievances to the visiting dignitaries and expressed their ire at their constituency MLA, Ponnala, who never visits them to resolve power and other issues. Power was being supplied for 2 to 3 hours of power only as against the promise of 7 hours in a day by the Government, farmers lamented. They said that their crops withered away for lack of water and due to erratic supply of power leading to the burning of their pump sets. Leaders took over and said that there is no point in arranging helpline numbers on power front as the ground situation is horrible. They demanded Minister Ponnala visit his constituency and interact with farmers and resolve the problem to restore normal power. TRS team condemned the ruling Congress for suppressing the Left parties agitation on power front and alleged that it exposed the weakness of the Government on such important public issue.
