yarcpWarangal: The leaders of YSR Congress Party youth wing have strongly condemned the caustic remarks made by Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy against late chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his son YS Jaganmohan Reddy. A massive agitation was held here on Saturday by the YSRCP youth wing activists led by its leader B Sudheer Reddy. An effigy of Annam garlanded with footwear was burnt at Kakatiya University Cross here on the day. Speaking to press persons on the occasion Sudheer Reddy accused Ramnarayana Reddy of turning to be 'ungrateful and disloyal' person. He said that Ramanarayana Reddy owed his political career to late Rajasekhara Reddy and now he was making sweeping and unwarranted remarks against him. The ministers' comments against YSR and Jagan have clearly exposed his double standards and his political bankruptcy. He was trying to impress his political bosses by targeting Jagan, the YSRCP leader said, adding, "It reflects the moral degradation of Ramnarayana Reddy and the Congress party as well." He demanded the minister to express an open apology for what he spoke against Jagan and YSR and warned that "If the minister failed to express his apologies all the YSRCP activists in the State would stage protests at his residence in Nellore district." The YSRCP activists have conducted protests and burnt effigies of the minister across the district on the day.
