Telangana neglected in State Budget: Vinay Bhaskar

Warangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhasker has accused N Kiran Kumar Reddy that the latter has been acting like the Chief Minister of Chittoor district.A Being a chief minister, one has to treat all the parts of the State equally. But Kiran Kumar Reddy has been acting on the contrary, the TRS MLA told press persons here on Monday. Referring to the state budget tabled by Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy in the Assembly on Monday, he said the budget was prepared for Chittoor district alone not for the state of Andhra Pradesh, he said.All other regions, in particular Telangana region was fully neglected by Kiran Kumar Reddy led Congress government, Vinay Bhasker stated. The plight of the people of Nalgonda affected by fluoride water was not addressed in the budget, he said. The funds allocation for the welfare of the SC/ST communities was also meagre. No measures were proposed to provide job opportunities for thousands of workers who lost their employment as a number of small and medium industrial units were closed due to widespread power cuts. Vinay Bhasker warned that the people have been watching the government and would teach a fitting lesson at the right time and added that the TRS would play an important role in fighting for the cause of the people.A Referring to Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu's refusal to back the TRS proposed `no-trust motion' against Congress government, he said it clearly tells the connivance between Congress and TDP. "All through his 2000 kilometres of walkathon, the TDP chief has been appealing to the public to unseat the Kiran Kumar Reddy government but when he got the chance to the same he shied away" the MLA added.A He appealed to the public in the district and in the region to turn up in large numbers for the 'Sadak Bandh' proposed to be staged on March 21 and make it a grand success. Vinay Bhasker warned the state government against creating hindrances to the 'Sadak Bandh'. Despite all the odds and obstacles by the government the agitation would be made success, he added.
