'My stint in Warangal district was an exceptional experience'

Warangal: Former Collector Rahul Bojja turning nostalgic said that it was an exceptional experience working as the District Collector of second biggest city in Telangana region. He revealed that two and half years in Warangal made him learn several things in the life. "I treated Warangal as my own native place though I happen to belong to Hyderabad," he unveiled his emotions. Rahul Bojja was given an emotional farewell by the members of Warangal Press Club and AP Working Journalists Union on the Press Club premises in Hanamkonda on Wednesday. He said that he would miss a lot now. He said that people of Warangal, including the journalists, are frank. Rahul said that first posting after IAS training was at Mulugu in the district and the good tenure of two and half years again in Warangal was a major experience in his life. He said that during his tenure, organization of the biggest ever tribal festival Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara at Medaram, inaugurals of yearlong Kakatiya festival and improving the facilities in government MGM hospital are few events which occupy the pages in his diary. He said that Warangal being a major tourist destination had a lot to offer to the people in every walk of life.
