In view of corrupt, inefficient and mismanaged administration for the past 10 years, our country has landed in a deep crisis. Economically, politically and internationally, India has been facing unprecedented problems under the leadership of beleaguered Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Upset with the poor governance of UPA, the people in the country looking towards Bharatiya Janata Party leader Narendra Modi as an alternative since his development model succeeded in Gujarat, said Telangana Praja Chaitanya Vedika chairman Kurapati Venkat Narayana, and Prof. G Damodar , president, Association of Kakatiya University Teacher president (AKUT).

The rupee value which was 41 against US dollar when Manmohan took charge in 2004 went up to 62 in exchange for an American dollar causing devastating effects on balance of payments, they said in an interaction with The Hans India here on Sunday.
Imports have become dearer and exports have become cheaper unable to improve the adverse conditions of balance of trade. International debts increased manifold and the growth rate of economy has come down to mere five percent per annum while unemployment rate increased by two percent.

As a result millions of youth are lurching in the job market.

There is an urgent need for the national leadership to pay attention to the above issues and find remedial measures. In the international front, a small country like Bangladesh is also threatening Indian Army. Under these circumstances, India needs an able, dynamic and dedicated leader who can effectively address the current economic and political imbroglio. Now millions of youth of this country look forward to Narendra Modi as a ray of hope. Professors V Srinivas, G Rajaiah, Gaddam Bhaskar, Vidyavanthula Vedika president Dr Doli Satyanarayana were present in the interaction.
