BJP leader rules out tie-up with TDP

Warangal: The campaign by the Congress leaders that Bharatiya Janata Party would forge a poll alliance with the Telugu Desam Party was baseless, said BJP district president A Ashok Reddy.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, he condemned the Congress campaign and asserted that there was no need for the BJP to go for alliance with any party. Many a time the BJP national leaders have clearly stated that the party would go it alone.

Just because of a few words of appreciation by the BJP leader Narendra Modi about the fighting spirit of TDP founder N Tarakarama Rao it was wrong to deduce that the BJP would tie up with the TDP.
